Q: "What makes you different from other entertainers?"
A: "Several things! The problem with many entertainers is that they may offer one show and one price
- that's it. I customize my programs from the start, taking into account how many people are at your event, the age range,
what kind of event, and so forth. All of these things and other details reflect on what kind of packages I can put together
for your event. Other entertainers are so concerned with showing off that they lose sight of why they're really there, which
is to make the client's life easy and make the event unforgettable and fun!"
Q: "What makes you different from other assembly presenters & motivational speakers?"
A: "First of all, many speakers tend to focus only on the 'nuts and bolts' of their topic, which is
fine, but so many presenters are BORING!
"My presentations are different because as a speaker/entertainer, I've learned that to really keep the attention of an
audience, whether it's for a school group of students, a corporate group or a teacher group, the key is to entertain as you
convey the information. I use a variety of techniques, including non-offensive humor, magic, audience participation, mind
reading and much more.
"No one ever falls asleep during my presentations because I work hard at presenting everything with a light touch. Time
flies by, and these presentational techniques guarantee that your group will retain more. Several studies have proven that
people of all ages retain more information when they're having fun."
Q: "Are your motivational programs high in content?"
A: "My motivational programs are EXTREMELY high in content. There are a lot of other speakers out there
who deal mostly with "fluff." An anti-drug show for a school assembly might consist of the presenter saying, 'Don't do drugs,
kids! Now watch me juggle for 45 minutes!' It's sad to say it, but it's true. I've seen presentations that just made me want
to hide my head.
"Corporate presenters can be no better. Many 'motivational-type' presentations are really good at firing up the audience,
but there's nothing of substance to carry over those good feelings into continued success and drive in the days, weeks and
months after the event.
"Every one of my motivational presentations gives attendees real 'tools' that they can use immediately, in the real world.
These tools literally can and do change lives...I'm living proof, and I cover other true-life examples in my programs."
Q: "Do you offer follow-up materials?"
A: "Absolutely! By offering follow-up materials, the lifespan of the program is extended, as it gives
everyone a chance to look back on what I've covered in the weeks and months after I'm long gone."
Q: "What kind of follow-up materials do you offer?"
A: "My school assembly programs come with Teacher Support Materials to follow up with students after
I'm gone. My corporate clients have the option of purchasing workbooks that attendees can fill in during the presentation
itself. I also offer even more depth materials that individual attendees can decide for themselves if they'd like to
purchase."
Q: "Why do you offer presentations for both young people and adults?"
A: "When it comes to motivating people, I enjoy working with all ages. I think it's important to do
what we can to motivate kids, because after all, they're our future! Besides, life is just so fast-paced that I think it's
important to motivate students with topical programs not only to help our youth (and perhaps ward off some of the media's
negative influence) but also to keep adults grounded, to remind ourselves of what it's like to grow up as kids.
"I offer teacher in-service/staff development programs specifically because I feel that, with the exception of being
a good parent, teachers have the TOUGHEST job in the world and I want to do what I can to help them realize just
how much they matter to the world!
"With my corporate motivational programs, it's fairly obvious that as we get older, the pressures we face (real
or imagined) seems to multiply greatly as we become adults. Again, our world is so fast-paced that it's important to take
a step back and gather ourselves. In the case of my Copywriting talk, I fully support the business world and I like to pass
along effective marketing techniques that have helped me over the years."
Q: "Are all of your presentations the same, like some presenters?"
A: "Oh my goodness, no! As I mentioned, use a lot of humor, magic, mind reading and audience participation
for my regular entertainment programs as well as my motivational/keynote presentations, but the indivudual "magic effects"
and jokes and so forth vary greatly from program to program."
Q: "For a school assembly program, what do you need from us?"
A: "Not a lot! If your group is over 100 people, it helps visibilty a bit if I'm on a stage of some
sort. Of course, many schools have their students sit on the floor in a gym, so in those cases I've effectively presented
programs for over 350 students without being on a raised platform.
"If your school is within driving distance - typically within 6 hours in most cases - I also bring a backdrop for more
visual appeal (and to hide band equipment that may still be on stage :) and even my own state-of-the-art PA system, meaning
you don't need to provide me with anything!"
Q: "For a corporate event, what do you need from us?"
A: "Again, very little! If your group is over 75 people, I strongly recommend asking your banquet/meeting
facility if they have "risers" or portable platforms available so that everyone can see me clearly. Obviously, a corporate
group is not going to be seated on the floor!
"Even when traveling by air, I'm often able to bring my own portable PA system with me, so again, the client doesn't
have to worry about anything."
Q: "What is the investment for your programs?"
A: "Since I travel all over the country and to Canada, it's impossible to give an accurate investment
level without knowing the particulars of the event. However, when you contact us, you'll be pleasantly surprised how reasonable
our rates are when compared to other speakers, celebitiy appearances and entertainers. We also offer generous "multi-program"
discounts, referral programs, and other such incentives."
Q: "Why do you offer such a strong guarantee?"
A: "Two reasons: One, because I believe in what I offer. I know how effective and fun my programs are
and more importantly, so do my clients. Two, because of the fact that there are a lot of 'part-time' entertainers and
speakers out in the world, I know that many people have been burned before. By offering such a strong guarantee, I'm showing
my clients that they don't have anything to worry about when they book my programs."
